Description of the organization's activities:
The Ontario Pharmacists Association is the largest advocacy organization and continuing professional development provider for pharmacy professionals in Canada. We are dedicated to working on behalf of patients, pharmacists, pharmacy students, pharmacy technicians and the patients they serve across the province to evolve the pharmacy profession and advocate for excellence in practice and patient care by fostering inspiration, innovation, and opportunity for every pharmacy professional in Ontario. By leveraging the unique expertise of pharmacy professionals, enabling them to practice to their fullest potential, and making them more accessible to all Ontarians, OPA is working to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the province’s health care system.We envision a province with a collaborative health care system, where all Ontarians trust, utilize and support the role of pharmacy professionals and pharmacy services as integral parts of their everyday health and wellness.
