Description of the organization's activities:
As the recognized voice of general aviation in Canada, the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association, a non-profit organization has spent five decades supporting and defending the right of Canadians to enjoy the freedom of Canadian airspace. Since its founding in 1952, COPA has been dedicated to opening doors and removing barriers to the growth of aviation.
Our Mission: Advance, Promote and Preserve the Canadian Freedom to Fly.

- As the recognized voice of general aviation in Canada, the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association, a non-profit organization has spent five decades supporting and defending the right of Canadians to enjoy the freedom of Canadian airspace. Since its founding in 1952, COPA has been dedicated to opening doors and removing barriers to the growth of aviation.
COPA raises the awareness of important issues facing the flying community, promotes air safety through education and works to lower the cost of flying.
Our Mission: COPA protects Personal Aviation and promotes it as a valued, integral and sustainable part of the Canadian Community.
Organization's membership or classes of membership:
Anyone that has an interest in general aviation and our mission. Individual or corporate members.

Organization's memberships or classes of memberships in previous versions:
- Regular member: shall be entitled to vote at meetings of members.
Family member: have the same mailing address as a Regular member. A Family member shall have all the
privileges of a Regular member, shall be entitled to vote at meetings of members.
Honourary Life member: have all the rights of a Regular member, shall be entitled to vote at meetings of members
Corporate member: member, shall appoint one individual representative, shall have all the privileges of a Regular member, shall be entitled to vote at meetings of members.
Reciprocal member: shall have all the privileges and obligations of a Corporate member but shall not be entitled to vote at meetings of members.
