Description of the organization's activities:
The Association is non-profit. The objectives of the
Association are:
1. To advocate measures in support of the pensions, benefits and general welfare of members and potential members;
2. Oppose measures detrimental to the interests of members and potential members;
3. Inform and assist members with respect to pensions, benefits and their general welfare;
4. Exert leadership in the areas of pensions, benefits and retiree and senior issues.

Descriptions of the organization's activity in previous versions:
- The Association is non-profit. The objects of the
Association are:
1. to advocate measures beneficial to annuitants and potential annuitants, with regard to their rights as annuitants, of the Public Service of Canada, the Canadian
Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the federally appointed judiciary and other federal agencies or bodies deemed appropriate by the Board;
2. to oppose measures inimical to said annuitants and potential annuitants;
3. to promote the general welfare of those persons to whom reference is made in 1.;
4. to inform and assist annuitants referred to in 1. with regard to their rights as annuitants;
5. to cooperate with other organizations in furtherance of mutual objectives; and
6. to promote and authorize the establishment of branches of the Association.
Organization's membership or classes of membership:
A person may be a Member of the Association if, for the purposes of a federal superannuation plan, the person is:
(a) an annuitant or spouse of an annuitant; or
(b) a current contributor to a federal superannuation plan or spouse of a current contributor; or
(c) a surviving spouse of a deceased Member.
A person may also be a Member of the Association if they are a Veteran, the spouse of a Veteran or spouse of a deceased Veteran.

Organization's memberships or classes of memberships in previous versions:
- A person may apply to become a member of the
Association if, for the purposes of a federal superannuation plan, the person is:
1. an annuitant,
2. the spouse of an annuitant, or
3. the surviving spouse of a deceased annuitant.
A contributor to a federal superannuation plan may apply to become an associate member.
