The Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) aligns its federal advocacy with Canada’s national commitment to conserve 30 percent of lands and waters by 2030. We believe the Bruce Trail’s conservation corridor as a vital contribution to this target and that protecting near urban nature should be a high priority withing the target. Our primary lobby goal is securing financial support for land acquisition, and to strengthen policies that protect habitat for species at risk, and goals to address climate change and the biodiversity crises.
