Agriculture, Research and Development, Small Business	ANAC is participating in an industry-government process aimed at modernizing the Feeds Regulations. ANAC is in regular contact with CFIA to communicate the feed industry's position on regulatory renewal. The association's position is that a modernized feeds regulation should focus on safety, foster innovation and competitiveness and provide adequate consumer protection. Redundant, outdated and unnecessary regulatory barriers should be removed. ANAC is also working with CFIA on ensuring that policies and programs are developed and updated regularly to follow the fast pace of innovation in our industry. Agriculture, Animal Welfare	ANAC is participating in consultations and dialogue with Health Canada looking at Veterinary Drugs Regulations and Policy changes as it relates to animal nutrition and feed production.	Regulation, Policies or Program
Agriculture, Animal Welfare, Transportation	ANAC is participating in discussions related to ongoing labour and transportation issues causing supply change issue which negatively impacting our industry. The effective movement of goods is essential to ensuring our industry can continue to supply Canadian livestock with safe and nutritious feed.
