The Food and Drugs Act and Regulations includes many regulations pertaining to disinfectants. For example, Drug Identification Numbers are required before selling a disinfectant, and the labels must conform to those regulations and be approved by Health Canada prior to sale. Additionally, each year reports must be submitted to Health Canada to continue the registration. I assist Veltek to ensure their products meet regulatory requirements in terms of obtaining DINs and ensuring their labels are correct.
