- Build greater support for the mobilization of resources for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH) programs to support the most vulnerable populations around the world.
- Build greater support for the mobilization of resources to support diverse programming for First Nation communities in specific geographies.
- Discuss ongoing operational issues in relation to domestic emergency management, disaster response, disaster risk reduction, detention monitoring and health activities with specific reference to having access to and protecting the most vulnerable populations in Canada.
- Discuss ongoing operational issues in relation to the ongoing delivery of humanitarian aid and development programming in specific geographies.
- Discuss ongoing programmatic issues with the Prime Ministers Office and the Treasury Board on an as needed basis.
- Ensure that all pledges undertaken by the Government of Canada are fulfilled and reported on in reference to the International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
