GreenCentre Canada has a proposal before the Government of Canada for the development of an “ADVANCE Network to Accelerate Early Stage CleanTech Companies.” ADVANCE aims to help Canadian chemicals and materials small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to overcome barriers to scaling and commercializing their disruptive CleanTech technologies through direct, “hands-on” technical and commercial assistance. GreenCentre’s proposal has been submitted to the federal Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) at the Statement of Intent stage. The Proposal seeks $35M in funding to support the development of a hub-and-spoke network including a National Centre and five regional hubs.
