The Screen Composers Guild of Canada (SCGC) is the national association certified under the Federal Status of the Artist Act to represent all professional Anglophone composers and music producers for audiovisual media productions in Canada.

SCGC offers three levels of membership: An "Associate" member is someone in the early stages of a career as a screen composer, is building their portfolio of composer credits, and has been pursuing their career for no more than 2 years. A "Professional" member is someone who has been working as a screen composer for 2 years or more, and has at least one scoring credit. A "Student" is someone enrolled in a relevant training program (university, college, apprenticeship), who intends to start a career in screen composing.
