Meeting with Parliamentarians, officials and senior staff to advance ongoing discussions with respect to James Smith's Cree Nation 100's desire to separate from two other Nations that are treated as a collective by Canada. Together, the three bands, known as "James Smith Cree Nation 370, " are currently funded by Canada as a collective, yet they are distinct Nations with separate elected leadership and different priorities. We are working to advance James Smith Cree Nation 100's de-amalgamation goals and self-determination priorities.
