Our mission is to create a positive business environment for investment and growth in Canada’s value-added chemistry companies; and through world class companies working together as leaders in Responsible Care, create value for our economy and provide solutions to the environmental, health and economic challenges facing Canadians. On July 1, 2020, the Association officially launched a Plastics Division, welcoming the members of the former Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) as part of the CIAC team. CIAC now represents the entire plastics industry value chain from resin producers and raw material suppliers to processors and converters, as well as equipment manufacturers, recyclers, and brand owners. The Association represents over 100 chemistry and plastics members combined.
