The Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (CSIP) is responsible for advocacy, Lobbying and regulating the activities of immigration practitioners who are members and who provide immigration advice for a fee or Pro bono. In addition, the Society is responsible for ensuring the education and competency testing of its members. The Society's mandate is to protect the consumers of immigration practitioner's services and ensure the competent and professional conduct of its members.The Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (CSIP) Board of Directors ("Board") bears responsibility for the stewardship of The Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (the" Society"). To discharge that responsibility, the Board is obligated by the FREE Membership of the Society to supervise the management of other societies and immigration business and affairs of these Society or associations. The Board's supervisory function involves Board oversight or monitoring of all significant aspects of the Immigration law, Rules, Regulation's and management of other the Society's business and affairs that they company with the law without falling into discrimination or default in the Canadian Constitution. |
