IN THE ENSUING YEARS THE COUNCIL HAS EXTENDED ITS PURVIEW TO REPRESENT THE INDUSTRY ON ALL MATTERS OF COMMON INTEREST, SMOKING AND HEALTH QUESTION, TAXATION, DEFINITION OF PRODUCT STANDARDS, EXCHANGE OF STATISTICAL INFORMATION; THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY AND INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY RELATIONS.
