THE STANDARDS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION HAVE NOW BEEN PUBLISHED & ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE. THE CCHREI COMPLETED THE DEVELOPMENT PHASE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTH CORPS PROJECT (IEYC) WHICH WAS FINANCED JOINTLY BY HRDC & ENVIRONMENT CANADA. THE CCHREI COMMENCED THE IEYC PROJECTS ON BEHALF OF ENVIRONMENT CANADA. THE TWO YOUTH INTERSHIP PROGRAMS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMS ARE CONTINUING AS PER THE AGREEMENTS WITH HRDC.
Subject Matter: Prospective: THE NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL STANDARDS PROJECT FOR TECHNICIANS & TECHNOLOGISTS WILL BE COMPLETED AS WELL AS THE PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR THE NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL STANDARDS FOR PROFESSIONALS. THE CCHREI WILL CONTINUE TO MANAGE ON BEHALF OF ENVIRONMENT CANADA THE INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTH CORPS PROJECT. ON BEHALF OF HRDC, THE CCHREI WILL COMMENCE MANAGING THE ENVIRONMENTAL SECTOR DATA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, A SUBSEQUENT PRELIMINARY ABORIGINAL PROJECT, THE TWO YOUTH INTERNSHIP AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECTS AND A NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTH CORPS PROJECT.
