- Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) AND ANTISEMITISM (specifically, urging Canada to continue supporting the office of the special advisor on antisemitism.)
- Role of Human Rights Commissions in Canada (arguing in favour of an ongoing role in the current debate about abolishing section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act; possible amendments to the Act to clarify the Commission's role and to make the complaint process fairer and more effective.)

UNDER THE AEGIS OF CIJA, THE CANADIAN COUNCIL FOR ISRAEL AND JEWISH ADVOCACY, CANADIAN JEWISH CONGRESS (CJC) IS THE REPRESENTATIVE ORGANIZATIONAL VOICE OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY OF CANADA. IT IS THE COMMUNITY'S MAJOR VEHICLE FOR NATIONAL ADVOCACY ON POLITICAL, LEGAL/ CONSTITUTIONAL, HUMAN RIGHTS AND SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES. CJC ACTS ON A BROAD RANGE OF MATTERS AFFECTING THE STATUS, RIGHTS AND WELFARE OF JEWS IN CANADA, AS WELL AS ON ISSUES OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUALITY FOR ALL CANADIANS, AND ARTICULATES THE COMMUNITY'S PERSPECTIVES ON KEY ISSUES OF NATIONAL SCOPE AND SIGNIFICANCE. CJC ALSO UNDERTAKES EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES IN FULFILLMENT OF ITS MANDATE.
