SPECIFICALLY THE ASSOCIATION AIMS: TO ENCOURAGE GOVERNMENTS IN CANADA TO IMPROVE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE OPERATIONS OF THE INDUSTRIES ARE CARRIED OUT;TO INFORM ITS MEMBERS OF DEVELOPMENTS AFFECTING THE OPERATIONS OF THE INDUSTRIES; TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF EFFICIENT INDUSTRIES IN CANADA AND SUPPORT THEIR TRADE ACTIVITY
