- Winding Up and Restructuring Act with respect to restructuring and winding up of life insurance companies, specifically Part 3. As we protect policyholders of life insurance companies if a company should go under the Winding-up and Restructuring Act, we're interested in ensuring that it provides appropriate policyholder protection.

Canadian Life and Health Insurance Compensation Corporation (a.k.a. Assuris) is a not for profit corporation, funded by the life insurance industry, that protects Canadian policyholders against loss of benefits due to the financial failure of a member company.
