- Implementation of National Pharmacare, specifically the ODA is supporting the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) as it engages the Government of Canada on this initiative, particularly as it concerns the taxation of health and dental benefits as a possible means of subsidizing a public program.

The Ontario Dental Association has been the leading voice of the province’s dental profession for more than 150 years. We are committed to the success of our members in service to their patients and the public. The voting members of the ODA are Councillors of the General Council, composed of representatives of each Component Society and Student Dental Society. Dentists who voluntarily join the Association, ODA Dentists and are divided into the following categories - active, affiliate, salaried, Canadian Forces, non-registered retired, second year new dentists, post-grad/intern/resident, part-time/semi-retired/registered-retired, and parental.
