The Government of Canada introduced policies on the mandatory publication on departmental websites of information about travel and hospitality expenses for selected government officials; contracts entered into by the Government of Canada for amounts over $10,000 (with only limited exceptions such as for those relating to national security); the reclassification of positions; and the award of grants and contributions over $25,000.

The information on this website will be updated on a quarterly basis. It is available as of February 6, 2006, the date that the former Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists became a separate department for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act.
