Economic Development, Taxation and Finance We are asking for the creation of partially refundable tax credit to apply to community capital tools (i.e. community bonds, co-operatives shares etc.). We do this work representing the Canadian Coalition for Community Capital, a grassroots network of various organizations in our sector that is 100% funded by Tapestry. Our employee, Suzanne Faiza, is the Coalition Coordinator.
Economic Development, Taxation and Finance We are asking the government to make changes to the Income Tax Act primarily through changes to what kinds of community capital investments (i.e. community bonds, co-operative shares, and other crowd-financing opportunities etc.) registered accounts can hold, and their respective eligibility rules. We do this work representing the Canadian Coalition for Community Capital, a grassroots network of various organizations in our sector that is 100% funded by Tapestry. Our employee, Suzanne Faiza, is the Coalition Coordinator.
