Mechanical Insulation Energy Audits. To explore the use and support from the Federal Government of Mechanical Insulation Energy Audits as a mechanism to reduce GHG and Carbon emissions as part of their climate strategy. Funding to incentivize the use of audits for building owners, operators and energy managers (the end user) would be a goal of Federal financial investment.

The primary focus of the union is to assist its membership in securing employment, to defend their rights and advance their interests as working men and women, and by education and cooperation, raise them to that position in society to which they are justly entitled. HFIAW is affiliated with the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Labour Congress and represents nearly 30,000 craftsmen in a series of construction trades.
