GreenShield is Canada’s only national non-profit health and benefits company serving more than 7.5 million Canadians. The parent company (i.e., Green Shield Association) is a non-profit entity organized under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. GreenShield is a payer-provider, offering insurance, administering benefits and paying claims as a 'payer' while offering health services such as mental health, pharmacy, telemedicine and chronic disease management as a 'provider'. GreenShield's excess earnings are used to support the health of underserved communities in pursuit of the company's mission of Better Health for All.
