CSA OPERATES INTERNATIONALLY THROUGH A NETWORK OF OFFICES AND PARTNERSHIPS. CSA IS A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL STANDARDS SYSTEM LEAD BY THE STANDARDS COUNCIL OF CANADA. CSA PROVIDES LEADERSHIP ON MATTERS OF SAFETY, PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONSENSUS STANDARDS AS WELL AS CERTIFICATION TESTING AND REGISTRATION SERVICES. CSA STANDARDS ARE DEVELOPED AND WRITTEN BY VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES REPRESENTING A COMBINATION OF GOVERNMENT, INDUSTRY, ACADEMIA, SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, CONSUMER GROUPS AND THE PUBLIC.
