• Increasing natural gas trade between Canada and other nations.
• Promote natural gas and LNG as a strategic tool to assist countries in meeting their energy needs.
• Work with Crown-Indigenous Relations Canada and Indigenous Services Canada regarding federal programs focusing on Indigenous communities, including economic development, and skills training.
• Work with Employment, Workforce Development and Labour to ensure job and skills training programs and opportunities are available for the development of the LNG industry.
• Work with government to help ensure there is an adequate supply of labour available to build the LNG industry.
