• Access to any grants and/or loans available to business and major tourism organizations to help mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

• Communicating about proposed Bill S-218, specifically those sections that regulate cetaceans and other non-domesticated animals in captivity.
• Communicating about proposed amendments to the Fisheries Act, specifically those sections that regulate cetaceans.
• Communicating with public office holders about actions already taken and implementation matters arising out of the passage of An Act to Amend the Fisheries Act and other Acts in consequence of the Captivity of Whales and Dolphins Act, 2019; Including transition plans that may be of interest to the department; As well as enquiries with respect to the process for approvals and status of applications under the Act. Keeping government apprised of Marineland's COVID-19 response and any potential impact the pandemic could have on Marineland’s operations.
