Agriculture Canada Grain Act (CGC) - to seek the modernization of the Canada Grain Act to better represent the interests of producers, be more predictable, cost effective and transparent, and increased funding to the CGC to support the public good function of the CGC such as grain quality assurance, while reaffirming the Canadian Grain Commission's mandate to maintain standards and regulate grain handling in the interests of grain producers.
