Lactalis Canada Inc. is a leading milk processor in Canada. It produces milk, yogurt, butter, cheese, other dairy products and ingredients as well as desserts. Lactalis Canada employs more than 4,200 people in 19 production facilities and about 30 sites across the country in total when including corporate offices, distribution centres and the R&D Centre. As major player in the dairy industry, any policies, laws or regulations relating to the dairy industry could affect its business across the country. Lactalis Canada Inc. is a wholly owned by the Groupe Lactalis which is based in Laval, France.
