Description of the organization's activities:
The PSAC aims to unite all workers within its area of jurisdiction into a single organization in order to obtain the best standards of compensation and other conditions of employment for its members and to protect and enhance the rights and interests of all workers.

Organization's membership or classes of membership:
The PSAC is Canada's largest federal public sector union. In addition to representing federal public sector workers, the PSAC represents workers employed in many other areas including: territorial and municipalities in the North; universities; airports; museums; and, diamond mines.
