Geoscientists Canada is the national organization of the self-regulating provincial/territorial professional associations that govern the profession of geoscience in each of the jurisdictions in Canada in which geoscience is a regulated profession. As of December 2022, there were 15,863 geoscience professionals registered with Geoscientists Canada's member associations. Working on behalf of its member associations, the Mission of Geoscientists Canada is "to improve the effectiveness of regulation in Canada to achieve excellence in the geoscience profession". The Vision of Geoscientists Canada is 'Excellence in Geoscience Professionalism in Canada".
