Description of the organization's activities:
The ANCC seeks to: (*) foster public awareness about issues affecting the Armenian community in Canada and abroad; (*) Represent the collective Canadian-Armenian viewpoint on matters of public interest; (*) advocate before the Canadian government on matters of interest to the Canadian-Armenian community; (*) support and promote human rights and justice issues concerning Canadians; serve as a liaison between the Canadian-Armenian community and their elected officials.

Organization's membership or classes of membership:
ANCC works nationally, with particular emphasis on the federal legislative and executive bodies, and national level media and non-governmental organisations. Local chapters of the ANCC operate in Montreal, Laval, Toronto, Cambridge, Hamilton, St-Catharines, Windsor and Vancouver. It is a grassroots organisation with a network of volunteer members accross the country. It is also part of a world-wide network of ANC offices.
