CEMA members, as fuel distributors, are impacted by carbon regimes. The Federal government has stated that they will be defining principles or a general policy related to carbon pricing. CEMA would like to discuss any federal Carbon Program - either stand alone or linked to provincial initiatives to ensure that the specific concerns around competitiveness, administrative burden, integration of markets etc, of the independent petroleum marketer are considered.
