Health Human Resources: encourage support for the College of Family Physician's goal of every Canadian having their own family physician. The CFPC is calling for federal action in key areas such as: expanding the family physician workforce through fair compensation; reducing administrative burden; new training spots in family medicine; faster integration of international medical graduates; introducing medical student loan forgiveness; and investing in standardized, team-based care models. These priorities aim to improve patient access by strengthening the foundation of family medicine.

Health Human Resources: encourage support for the College of Family Physician's goal of every Canadian having their own family physician. The College of Family Physicians of Canada is also recommending increased federal support for a pan-Canadian health human resources plan to strengthen primary care. Investment into Primary Health Care Transition Fund would help improve Canada-wide access to family practices and allied primary care.
