The College is not an agent of Her Majesty in right of Canada, and the College’s directors, the members of its committees, the Registrar, the investigators and any officers, employees and agents and mandataries of the College are not part of the federal public administration.

The Proposal was approved on May 2019 and received the Royal Assent on July 29 2019 after the Senate Approval

In addition, the Society is responsible for ensuring the education and competency testing of its members. The Society's mandate is to protect the consumers of immigration practitioner's services and ensure the competent and professional conduct of its members.The Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (CSIP) Board of Directors ("Board") bears responsibility for the stewardship of The Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (the" Society"). To discharge that responsibility, the Board is obligated by the FREE Membership of the Society to supervise the management of other societies and immigration business and affairs of these Society or associations. The Board's supervisory function involves Board oversight or monitoring of all significant aspects of the Immigration law, Rules, Regulation's and management of other the Society's business and affairs that they company with the law without falling into discrimination or default in the Canadian Constitution.
- The Federal Society of Immigration Practitioners (FSIP) and its divisions, The College of Canadian Immigration Practitioners of Canada (CIPC) and the Canadian Immigration practitioners network (CIPN) and the Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners (CSIP) exists to monitor, govern and regulates the Immigration profession of other societies, organizations, Association, non government groups, individuals are affiliated at arm and length from the Provincial or Federal government in the public interest. The FSIP, CIPN, CIPC and CSIP directly addresses the Government with any public complaints about a member registered (Provincial and/ or federal that relates to Canadian Immigrations issues and act on behalf of it's { Administration , Association, Organization, Corporations, Notaries and Immigration Practitioners who are members and non members of any organization deals with immigration practice {consultation, advice, counseling, representing before the minister of Immigration or Federal tribunal for a fee / Pro bono services / or to those who charge for prepare immigration applications prior to submission before the minister of Immigration according to the amendment to Inland Processing Manual no 9 (IP9) published by Citizenship and Immigration Canada under Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulation made thereunder.

The CSIP Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners can address the public complaints about a member (Provincial registered Societies and federal registered NPO Society's { administration , Association, Organization, Corporations, Notaries and immigration Practitioners in Canada who are members and non members of any organization and who provide immigration advice for a fee / Pro bono services / The mandate of the Federal Society is: CSIP exists to govern and discipline Associations, Organizations, Corporations, Notaries and Individuals ( Ex immigration officers, Consultants, , Advocates, advisors, Paralegal, stake holders and any other recognized organization specified in the IRPA / IRPR section 13.(1) (2) ) who practice immigration in Canada in the public interest by: ensuring that the people of Canada and Foreign consumers are served by immigration practitioners , Societies, Organizations, associations who meet the standard of learning , competence and professional conduct; and upholding the independence , integrity and honor of the immigration profession; for the purpose of advancing the cause of justice and the rule of law . The Objective of the Federal Society: Objects of the FSIP Corporation are: the Society is an Umbrella Immigration Society is responsible for Regulating / Supervising / Discipline the members and their activities of other Societies and NPO Societies administration, Association, Organization, Corporations, Notaries and immigration Practitioners in Canada who are members and non members of any organization and who provide immigration advice for a fee / Pro bono services

4 The purpose of the College is to regulate immigration and citizenship consultants in the public interest and protect the public, including by
(a) establishing and administering qualification standards, standards of practice and continuing education requirements for licensees;
(b) ensuring compliance with the code of professional conduct; and
(c) undertaking public awareness activities.
