The Committee supports the articulation of B’nai Brith Canada’s objectives and activities in the areas of social justice and community care > Submissions to House of Commons and Senate committees on practical support for charities and non-profits responding to the COVID-19 pandemic; proposals to support work of Canada's Special Envoy pm Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism.

The Committee, supporting B’nai Brith Canada and the League for Human Rights, works with government institutions and law enforcement agencies and organizations to pursue practical and durable solutions to the societal threat of hate speech and hate crimes > Presentation of results of annual audits of antisemitic incidents in Canada, encouraging adoption of a national action plan to combat antisemitism, promoting Holocaust education and awareness and lessons for contemporary society..
The Committee, supporting B’nai Brith Canada and the League for Human Rights, works with government institutions and law enforcement agencies and organizations to pursue practical and durable solutions to the societal threat of hate speech and hate crimes > Presentation of views to Canada’s Anti-Racism Secretariat, the Department of Canadian Heritage, Global Affairs Canada, other government agencies and parliamentarians on countering the spread of COVID-19-related antisemitism and hate speech and the Canadian need to raise Holocaust awareness.
