Description of the organization's activities:
WUSC improves education, employment, and empowerment opportunities for youth. We work with a diverse network of students, volunteers, institutions, governments, and businesses. Together, we foster youth-centered solutions to overcome inequality and exclusion around the world.
Organization's membership or classes of membership:
12.1. A university, college or other academic institution eligible for membership in the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (“AUCC”) or the Colleges and Institutes Canada (“CICan”) (each an “Institutional Member”) and who pays an annual membership fee as may from time to time be determined by the Board;
12.2. a committee of at least five (5) persons (including but not limited to students and faculty associated with a post-secondary institution) and which committee holds at least one activity sponsored by the Corporation in Canada each year (each a “Local Committee”, the members of which are each a “Local Committee Member”) and who pays an annual membership fee as may from time to time be determined by the Board;
12.3. an individual who is or has been associated with the Corporation as a volunteer, co-operant or associate, seminar participant, Member, scholarship beneficiary, refugee student, Local Committee Member, former staff member, donor, Director, consultant or in some other meaningful way and who pays an annual membership fee as may from time to time be determined by the Board (each a “General
Member”).
