Budget, Health, Taxation and Finance Health Human Resources: encourage support for the College of Family Physician's goal of every Canadian having their own family physician. The CFPC is calling for federal action in key areas such as: expanding the family physician workforce through fair compensation; reducing administrative burden; new training spots in family medicine; faster integration of international medical graduates; introducing medical student loan forgiveness; and investing in standardized, team-based care models. These priorities aim to improve patient access by strengthening the foundation of family medicine.
