- CFIA Openness and Transparency Policy: provide baking industry perspective along with amendments.
- COVID-19: Advocate for bakery workers and their supply chain to receive vaccine prioritization after vulnerable populations, health care workers and first responders.
- Environment and Climate Change Canada Zero Plastic Waste initiative which seeks to ban single use plastics. Provide program with information related to the use of single use plastics in the baking industry and rational for their use. Work to seek alternatives.
- Voluntary Sodium Reduction: provide comments and recommendations to Health Canada on adjustments to voluntary sodium reduction targets for baked goods.
