- Communicating about Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (“NSERC”) Collaborative Research and Development (“CRD”) Grants and Industrial Research Chairs (“IRC”) Grants.
Policies or Program
- Communicating about collaboration between industry and government in the area of greenhouse gas emissions. These communications will touch on: (i) energy efficiency, (ii) steam demand reduction, (iii) carbon capture, storage and conversion, (iv) fugitive emissions and (v) mobile fleet efficiencies.
- Communicating about collaboration between industry and government in the area of land management. These communications will touch on: (i) front-end planning and management, (ii) land reclamation and restoration and (iii) species management plans.
- Communicating about collaboration between industry and government in the area of tailings management. These communications will touch on: (i) technology optimization and commercialization, (ii) pit lakes and soft depositions, (iii) deposit performance, (iv) depositional flow and (v) collection and transportation of depositions.
- Communicating about collaboration between industry and government in the area of water management and conservation. These communications will touch on: (i) steam generation, (ii) water treatment and management, (iii) pit lakes and (iv) water recovery and return.
- Communicating about the Government of Alberta and Government of Canada's Joint Oil Sands Monitoring ("OSM") Program, specifically work plans and technical reports.
