- Enlist support for the acquisition of in-shore weather buoys to be deployed at key locations in Atlantic Canada (Saint John, Halifax and Canso) for the purpose of enhancing safe and efficient port, pilotage and weather forecasting operations.

- Development of procedures to adequately respond to COVID-19 cases in shipping and specifically for vessels under pilotage

- new process pertaining to pilotage charges to be developed by regional pilotage authorities following amendments made in June 2019 to the Pilotage Act

- Amendments to the Atlantic Pilotage Regulations regrading the designation of compulsory pilotage areas
- Development of national pilotage regulations by Transport Canada pursuant to the amended Pilotage Act
- Implementation process regarding amendments made to the Pilotage Act in June 2019, specifically in respect of pilotage regulations to be reviewed and developed by Transport Canada
- Possible amendments to the Laurentian Pilotage Authority Regulations
- Possible amendments to the Pacific Pilotage Authority Regulations regarding the regime applicable to tug and barges on the west coast and the qualifications required of those conducting such units
- Possible changes to the Great Lakes Pilotage Regulations
