Economics of Policing. Canadian Association of Police Boards (CAPB) has worked with Public Safety staff on shaping the agenda for the National Summit on the Economics of Policing, that was held in Ottawa on January 16 & 17, 2013 and hosted by the Minister of Public Safety.
CAPB also appeared as a witness before the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security (SECU) on the Economics of Policing.

Bill C-51, Amending the Witness Protection Act and impact on municipal police services
Bill C42, Enhancing the RCMP Accountability Act, with respect to aspects that impact municipal contract policing.
Cyberbullying, the Canadian Association of Police Boards (CAPB) supports the legislation known as C 273 on Cyberbullying and the Vice President appeared as a witness before the Standing Committee on Justice & Human Rights.
