Several federal department and agencies: to have policy statements on youth and volunteerism
Several federal departments and agencies: The youth employment strategy : CWY is seeking to obtain funding through an already existing policy or program, and more specifically, through the Skills Link Program that provides funding for employers and organizations to help youth facing barriers to employment obtain the knowledge and develop the broad range of skills and work experience they need to participate in the labour market.

Global Affairs Canada: Seeking funding for unsolicited proposals in line with the Feminist International Assistance Policy, seeking funding for call for proposals from Global Affairs Canada through Partners for Development, as well as the Volunteer Cooperation Program, the international youth internship program and Aboriginal youth internships initiative;
Indigenous Northern Affairs Canada: Seeking funding and other opportunities through Cultural connections for Indigenous Youth; Young Canada Works for Indigenous Youth; Youth Employment strategy for First Nations and Inuit Youth
Status of women: women's programs - CWY’s activities are aimed at obtaining funding through unsolicited proposals ( Status of Women Canada also accepts applications to the Women's Program on an ongoing basis), as well as through solicited calls for proposals falling into two priority areas of Status of Women Canada : Improving women's and girls' economic security and prosperity and Encouraging women and girls in leadership and decision-making roles.
