In particular, digital telephony; spectrum policy; lawful access and privacy issues; distribution and broadcasting licensing issues, broadband deployment; satellite signal theft, and copyright.

Rogers Communications Inc. either directly or through one of its operating subsidiary companies will be monitoring and / or making representations with regard to the Order Varying Telecom Decision CRTC 2006-15, Forbearance from the Regulation of Retail Local Exchange Services, the Competition Bureau "Draft Bulletin on the Abuse of Dominance Provisions as Applied to the Telecom Industry", the Telecom Policy Directive, and Spectrum Framework Consultation, and will be monitoring on a continuous basis CRTC decisions and policies as they relate to broadcasting, distribution, and licensing, Industry Canada radio frequency spectrum management, issues relating to copyright law reform, pending lawful access legislation and possible amendments to the Radiocommunications Act pertaining to satellite signal theft.
