Working collectively with the group of leading Canadian space companies referred to as the "C-10", meetings are anticipated with Industry Canada (IC) and the Ministry of Science & Technology, to argue for greater funding for the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) in the federal budget, as a necessary requirement for ensuring sufficient Canadian space industry infrastructure is available as a strategic national resource, to meet Canadian defence, security, natural resource management, disaster management, communications and other public policy needs.

Discussions with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) staff and with Public Works and Government Services Canada's (PWGSC's) senior staff in Quebec about the chronic problems getting Request for Proposals (RFP's) issued and processed in an effective and timely manner at PWGSC.
Discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his staff are anticipated concerning the execution of Canadian export control rules and regulations under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) as applied to specific COM DEV requests for permits to export space products.
Meetings with the Industry Canada (IC) Minister and Deputy Minister are anticipated to discuss the execution of the Industrial and Regional Benefit (IRB) program run by IC in support of the Department of National Defence's (DND) large capital procurement projects.
