• Consideration and application for existing programs (ecoEnergy technology fund, green infrastructure fund, clean energy technology fund) with respect to development of carbon capture and storage system by ICO2N.
• eco Agricultural BioFuels Capital Initiative (ecoABC), with respect to funding for expansion of ethanol plant.
• ecoEnergy Renewable Power Initiative funding for wind power project.
• ecoEnergy for biofuels program, with respect to funding for expansion of ethanol plant.

Legislative Proposal, Bill or Resolution

• Resolution related to the corporate structure or ownership model of Ridley Terminals Inc., as governed by the Financial Administration Act (R.S., 1985, c. F-11).

Policies or Program

• Consultation on Federal/Provincial alignment of GHG policies, with respect to CO2 capture and storage for ICO2N.
• Input on pre-certification, general technology fund approach and the use of multiple credits, Accelerated Capital Cost Allowance or other instruments to incent carbon capture and storage for ICO2N (Integrated CO2 Network).
• Negotiations between Canada and the U.S. on technology development within the clean energy dialogue for ICO2N.
• North American cap and trade dialogue. Consultation on concept and negotiations with Alberta/Canada and USA for ICO2N.

Policies or Program, Regulation

• Discussions on climate change regulations and policy with respect to considerations for GHG reduction targets, cap and trade provisions, carbon tax mechanisms, low carbon fuels standards and specific policies that may be directed at oil sands, refining, gas processing, CO2 capture and storage and renewables.
