Policies or Program
- Air transport negotiations between Canada and China. Those negotiations are of interest to the CAA as they will have an effect on airlines' ability to provide non-stop service to the CAA as well as frequency and capacity of flights
- Canada's Blue Sky policy being implemented with Japan. Air transport negotiations with Japan are of interest to the CAA as they will have an effect on airlines ability to provide non-stop service to the CAA as well as frequency and capacity of flights.
Regulation
- The proposed Airport Winter Maintenance and Planning Regulation, which would amend the Canadian Aviation Regulations under the Aeronautics Act. This proposed Regulation is of interest to the CAA as it would be required by law to comply with the amended Regulation and alter its winter maintenance operations accordingly.
- The proposed amendment to the Canadian Aviation Security Regulations under the Aeronautics Act which would incorporate the requirement for Security Management Systems (SeMS). The CAA is interested in this proposal as it would be required by law to comply with the amended Regulation and alter its secuirty operations accordingly.
