Canada Wide Standards on mercury and other Canada Wide Standards pertaining to electricity generation, transmission and distribution in respect of new emissions reduction targets, sampling and reporting requirements. Specific Canada Wide Standards include Mercury Emissions, Mercury Emissions from Coal-Fired Electric Power Generating Plants and Petroleum Hydrocarbons in Soil.
EcoEnergy Efficiency Initiative in respect of support for regional and company programs. Nova Scotia Power Inc. was part of a regional consortium which together applied for financial support of the Clean Energy Fund for research projects related to sources of renewable energy, including tidal, biomass and wind.
EcoEnergy Renewable Initiative in respect to effective policy framework and application of program incentives. Advocating for the fair creation of criteria development, program amounts and duration.
