- Advocating for an increase in funding for the Canadian Insitutes of Health Research (CIHR) with regards to increase the CIHR budget to $1.7 billion a year.
- Brain strategy Canada. We are a member of the Neurological Health Charities Canada and we would like the government to work with us to develop a brain strategy for all Canadians with neurological conditions.Brain strategy Canada. As a member of this coalition we are seeking funding from the government to ological Health Charities Canada and assist us in developing the brain strategy. The cost for the first part of the strategy is $2 million and that is what we are seeking from the government.
- To provide funding for neuromuscular diseases, one of which is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) with regards to continued funding from the government to help fund researchers in the neuromuscular field.
