• Seeking that the Governor in Council issue a policy direction to the CRTC, pursuant to section 15 of the Broadcasting Act, requiring the Commission, when reviewing a change of ownership or control of a broadcasting licence, to ensure that the applicant has fair and equitable arrangements in place with the independent production sector in respect of the ownership and exploitation of digital rights

• Broadcasting Distribution Regulations relating to CRTC-mandated contributions by cable, satellite and telecommunications television service providers to certified independent production funds
• Seeking to ensure that appropriate Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) in the film and television industry are exempt from the 4-year cap on working in Canada as provided in the Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.
