- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT with respect to providing specific programs to enhance shipbuilding production. The SR&ED Program is a Federal tax incentive program that encourages Canadian businesses of all sizes to conduct research and development in Canada.
- SPECIFIED LEASING TAX RULES with respect to eliminating ships from the application of the Tax Act's specified Leasing rules.

- STRUCTURED FINANCING FACILITY (SFF) with respect to the reinstatement of the Program that was cancelled in March 2013. SFF is an Industry Canada Program that provides financing support in the form of a buy-down of financing costs for the purchasers of ships constructed in Canada. Our interest is in trying to ensure that this program remains adequately funded.

Regulation
- DUTY REMISSION OF 25% TARIFF ON SHIPS with respect to proposals to eliminate Customs Duty rates on vessels presently subject to a 25% tariff under the Most-Favoured-Nation tariff.
