• Convince the Government to improve the implementation of recent amendments to the Copyright Act and Trade-marks Act.

• • Convince the Government to enhance the priority for Intellectual Property protection, in Canada;
• • Convince the Government to make combatting counterfeit goods a greater priority in light of the threat to health and safety of consumers;
• • Discuss with the Government priorities for consumer protection, in Canada including the use of trademarks as a source identifier meant to protect the public.
• • Have a discussion with the Government to find ways of how the private sector can better support the work of the Canadian Intellectual Property office;
